Yamina is the director of Always Receiving Nur, a non-profit educational organization dedicated to empowerment and enrichment through Qur’anic spirituality. She transitioned from her position as Associate Professor of Islamic Studies in order to commit to this project.

In addition to extensive training in Islamic Studies both in traditional and academic settings, Yamina also holds a PhD in Theoretical (Quantum) Physics from England.

She has published extensively in several languages on Islam, especially on Qur’anic Studies, Islamic Spirituality and the relation between religion and science.

She has been offering online Qur’anic classes as well as extensive Qur’an workshops and spiritual retreats.
